Din-i Ilahi (religion of God) was a religion created by the Mughal emperor Akbar during his rule in 1582 AD. That merged the best aspects Islam and Hinduism, the two religions of his empire. By creating Din-i-Ilahi, he hoped to end violence by harmonizing the two religions.

Din-i Ilahi is a typeface that is created by combinging urdu calligraphic script with western letters. Using the latin language to create harmony.
